Topic: interface beta for homepage (Page 1 of 1)

I am going to make a homepage with ps resources and tutz. This is a school projekt so I'm not really sure that I am going to launch this page for real. The teacher demands crappy midi and click sounds *bandwidht eater* so maybe I will launch a stripped version of it.

you should make it a little bit smaller so the evil horizontal scroll bar of doom doesn't show up at lower resolutions like mine.

Uhhh...I take it you want it reviewed? Well, if that is the case...there is way to much open space...and I don't really like the Photoshop logo, maybe a bit more transparence? And the dropshadow is not right...just look at the last 'p', it isn't right. I do like the ani, tho. Not a great fan of white bg, maybe tone it down somewhat? And the Nav...it irritates me...it's too jerky, and hard on the eyes...and the round 'boundry' I don't like...it just doesn't 'go' with the rest...I guess the color scheme is ok, tho' not spectacular. Just some of my opinions...

Puh...! Ok It isn't perfect and maybe it isn't even good.

But my multimedia teacher will praise me like a god when he see's it.
I have been in his class for almost 4-5 months 4 hours a week.
And still havn't I learned anything new.
The only thing that I have learned is that he uses crappy technics,
loves Homesite, is a great fan of midi and has no restraints against
pop-up windows and other annoying things.

It's great here at the forum because if didn't get these reviews then I would settle
with something less good (really!). Then I would never become a guru and have
the world in my hand!

It's very incomplete...But what a heck i'll give it a shot

Just a quick note:
It looks really vectory like it was done in Flash, I dunno, but to me I dont think it suits a photoshop site too much. But it looks good anyway.

Fix the dropshadow (photoshop)...or better yet, get rid of it...looks better w/content in it...however, I don't like the white background...it is too bright (re=background should remain in the background). And the nav rollovers are way to jerky...put a few more 'frames' of movement in there...I do like the 'stretch effect' of the nav rollovers, instead of color change (which seems to be almost standard).

very clean and pleasing to my eye, also kudos for Dl time, that impressed me. Loaded ok in my NN4.76, as far as I can tell.
