Now things are finally starting to get rolling on my portfolio homepage (there are still some things to complete) I'm ready to throw it into the Site Reviews forum and see what you think.

Please have a look : http://stephanelorrain.com

Thanks in advance!

OK, I'll start off with my peeves, since they are most likely to help (then again, maybe not)...

First of all, kill the sound. That scared the living crap out of me. Can you imagine if someone at work tried to look at that site? It's not a problem for me, since I work from home, but still... it's very jarring, and I don't quite see the point.

I also have a pop-up killer enabled, so the new window confused me for a second (as they always do). If you're going to go that route, you might want to give notice that the site will open in a new window.

Size. Not site size per se, but the actual content area size--that little box in the lower right hand corner of the site. I wanted to see more, or at least larger.

I was a bit confused as to how to get back to the main page after I had looked at the photographs. After I moused over the site name the word "home" popped up, but I shouldn't have to figure out where I need to click. Even something as simple as that is making it harder on the user than necessary. I should know immediately where I need to click to get back to the main menu.

Now, stuff I liked. You've got some interesting photographs there. I especially liked some of your architectural and nighttime shots. I also noticed that you have a few "Seoul 2000" pictures there. Probably not the pictures I would have taken, but that's what makes everyone unique. So, what were you doing in Seoul, and did you enjoy your stay? Oh, while I'm at it (this is a gripe), I didn't actually notice the "Seoul 2000" until I accidentally moused over it. See my above comments on the "home" link.

I also liked the site colors and visual design. You obviously have more skill in this area than I will ever have, and I can appreciate that. I really would like to see larger photographs, though. Maybe you could rethink the content area sizes and layout...

Thank you very much,
I've already removed the sound and the pop-pop!!!
As soon as possible, I will redesign my site regarding your comments. I appreciate your review. Thank You!

I now need more feedback from other peoples.

PS: I was at Seoul for my job. I installed some telecom equipement for the Korean army, and given some courses to Korean enginners.

The HOME button is too hidden , thats about all I have to say, you should have a clear "back button" on each page maybe
