As you allready know (I think..) the page doesn't work in Moz1.1

I don't have the time to check out the code know, but I'll take a look at at later on tonight and see if I can find what causes the problem.

Yeah, I like that idea as well. I can't really offer a review for the page as you see it since I am running opera.

What I can say, is that there is a large gap between your navigation and your content.

Your scripts are broken in that the menu drops down then jitters like crazy.

The page could use some type of liquid design in that, I have it all scrunched to the left hand side of my browser window.

The page also seems rather simple, it could do with something going on in it. I don't really see it pulling my attention. Throw in some imagry or something. It needs a bit of work.

I think you could make it work, just more time and more fine detail. Above and beyond that, your code should be standards compliant. I am sure you could get rid of all those crazy tables and use some div tags. It is much easier to design for standards compliance than not, all that time you spend hacking those tables togeather could be spent just working on the style sheet.

Good luck.

I'm not "feelin' it", mas.
It's just not givin' off much of a vibe.

Personal site, right?.... web log, right?.... a place to play and showcase your work, right?
So here's my thoughts, man...
Where's the "extension" of you?
The "extension" that would give this a very personal feel?

Right now, I see a very rigid design.
Blocked, braced, cramped, and with a lack of "flow".
These aren't the elements of a personal site, in my opinion.

I hate to beat a dead donkey, here...
But did you ever have a chance to see DG's old, true home.... The Path?
The feeling that it gave each visitor was irreplaceable in many many ways.
It was free-flowing... yet contained...
It was HIS..... but it felt like YOURS.... and he wanted it to be just that.

Now, I don't know the exact vibe you're trying to give off here, but like I said...... regaurdless of what it is...... I'm not feelin' it.
The layout seems segregated and stagnent.
I'm finding it difficult to expand upon what little I've said.

I'll sum up this short review by saying....
I like that yellow that you used for the date text.

If you need me to explain something a bit better than I've done here,
hit me up on Q..... I'll answer any questions you've got.

and to quickly clarify one point that I made above....

when I said, "It was HIS..... but it felt like YOURS.... and he wanted it to be just that."

"Yours"... refers to the visitor of DG's site.

this is nothing spectacular by any means....

But I think it gives off a bit a vibe...... and that's what I'm talking about.
Creating some sort of "user experience".
I think something like this is appealing, as it's a bit more free-flowing that your design....... but at the same time, it's "pathed" out.
It falls into the "highly usable" category....... it's simplistic..... and hints at artistic.
Of course..... this could just be me talking out of my ass........ We all know it's happened before... and will happen again.

It's just a 20 minute quickie in PS...
And you'll have to bear with me, as I'm in this sort of minimalist phase with mah shit lately.

... so there's another 2 cents, and maybe help to get a few more ideas rollin' out.

keep at it... and keep us updated.
