Welcome to the Asylum! Since you are new here you might want to check the
Next time you ask for a site review you should also add some more information. What do you want reviewed? Who is you target audience? Right now I just critisied what I though appropriate...

I like the colors and overall feel of the site. It is nothing spectacular, but it is working... When viewing it in Mozilla 1.2.1 I get to much white space bellow the logo in the top left corner. I tested the site in IE6.0 as well and the white space was smaller there so it is a problem with how your code is rendered in Mozilla... In Mozilla I also get a HSOB(Horisontal Scrollbar of Death) no matter what resolution I view it at (tried almost everything up to 1024x768). That is not good! The page should be viewable everything down to 800x600 with a HSOB.

I would also remove the animation of the quote. Change the quote everytime the user reloads the page instead... The two other animations isn't nessecary either and draws the attention away from the content and the rest of the page so I might want to consider (re)moving them. At least the Panoramic banner.. the Announcement animation is so small that is doesn't matter that much..

The pool options on your site is also somewhat lacking imo. You take it for granted that no one dislike your site...

Looking at your code I can see one mayor flaw (at least in my opinion). You lack a DOCTYPE. More info can be found here

You also have a <style type="text/css"> part in the middle of your page. It would probably be a good idea to move this to an external stylesheet and link it in the beginning of the page... You should also move most of your javascript to external scipt files to increase the readability of your source code.

Changing to a table less layout would also make the code easier to read. That would be a lot of work since you allready have this thing working now, but it is something you should seriously consider when(/if) you redesign your site...

Thank you for the feedback Veneficuz, I value your opinion.

Please tell me (as i am pc based) what version of Mac software were you using? and how current is Moz 1.2.1 ? Also is it the default browser type on a Mac or it's something a user installs?

I'm using winXP, but I'm pretty sure that the only OS that has Mozilla as the default browser are some of the various Linux version.

Mozilla is the open source version of Netscape. Version 1.2.1 is the latest stable release, but there is a version 1.3 alpha out as well. When a site doesn't work in Mozilla it most of the time means that is won't work in newer versions of Netscape either since they use the same "renderer".

When checking out the site in IE I noticed that when you resize the window the whole browsers goes blank for a couple of seconds when the site is being 'remade'. For some reason this doesn't happen when using Mozilla...

I have checked the site with Netscape and worked fine, also checked with IE 4 upwards and was fine.

I thought that Moz 1.2.1 was for Mac, My stats show that minimum Moz version is 4.0. does that make sence?

I wish one day they stop with this cross browser compatibility thing as it drives me abs nuts.

Just the other day spend 4 days working one line of code out as it was giving me grief with NN.

hehe.. browser compabilty can be a real pain in the *ss. The important thing is only that the site is viewable in all of the major browsers. If all the special effects doesn't work in all browsers it is acceptable....

I have now idea how your stats can show that the minimum Moz version is 4.0 since 1.2.1 is the latest stable release.. Are you sure it is Mozilla you are looking at and not some other browser with a similair name?

The site works fine in Mozilla, the only problem is the HSOB and a coupleo of pixels to much white space at the top. The banner at the top is the right width, but the main-table is to wide.

I also noticed that you have forgotten a couple of "'s in your meta tags. For example at the end of the generator meta tag.
I also noticed that

I got the Moz version used from the servers site stats which is autogenerated. Who knows how they work that out?
Well it means one thing, I have to reinstall NN to have another look. And the truth is i hate that program.
Thank's veneficuz i didn't notice the " missing, Ill change them today and the Doctype while Iam there too.

Do you have any comments regarding the tutorials?
