I had to redo my site from scratch and would like another review. The only table is the "Bravenet Mailing List" code.
I'll be taking care of that soon. Thanks in advance for the help..
The link is in the sig.

A simple, but functional layout... I would like to see some more difference between the menu and midi links. Right now the only difference is the positioning. It would feel more natural to me if you moved the 'home' link closer to the top of the menu. Most pages have the home button at the top so users will look there first. You should also make the banner image clickable so it takes you to the home/main page.

If possible, you shuld also do something with the guestbook so it stays within the same layout instead of loading a completely new page.

Thanks Veneficuz...
Think I did just about everything you advised and a few of my own.
Can't do a whole lot with the 'Bravenet Guestbook', but did make a few changes.
Check again if you like and let me know what you think.
Thanks again for the help

Looking good

When you mouseover the banner (on any page except the main page) the content area moves a couple of pixels up.

In the code you have for example specified <div align="center" class="menu">, you should move the align part to the style sheet instead of having it in the tag like that. You have done the same a couple of other places in the code as well. On the main page you specify a lot of style attributes in the .html file, these should be moved to the style sheet as well... All code that you use with the style="..." attribute should be moved to the style sheet. If you keep it all in one place it will also be easier to update.

Two things:

1) If you're going to include a compatibility message like that, you should put it in a <div> or <p> that is hidden so CSS-compatible browsers won't see it. After all, people who can see your site with no problem don't need to see the message, do they? With that out of the way, you have more room for content on the front page, like maybe some info about yourself, the story of your site, etc.

(Note: some important people in the web standards community have been advocating the removal of these sorts of messages, for reasons that will become apparent if you follow these two links. Definitely worth a read.)

2) I believe I mentioned this before, but the fade effect bugs me. You've come back with it again, so I can only assume that you like it. In the end, it's a personal, stylistic choice, I suppose, but in my mind anything that makes the user wait longer to see what's next is not a good thing. If you like it, though, don't just remove it because I said so--just consider it and come to your own conclusions.

Suho or anyone... Got the paragraph hidden from newer browsers.
Now is there a way I can put something in that area without moving the hidden paragraph
farther down the screen?
