A couple of things,

1) Browser requirements? Does this mean that only a very small percentage will be able to see your content? It excludes a large portion of your audience from the beginning.
2) Where do the links at the bottom point to? It's not too obvious. I would label the buttons with text.
3) The contrast of the background color and the text color isn't strong enough. Those with older video cards and monitors will probably see poor dithered results.
4) Frames aren't really necessary here. The same design can be accomplished through CSS-based design, or even by tables.

Quality graphics. I like the color scheme, but I would change the color of the text.

On my screen, I can see slightly darker boxes around all the graphics.
Checking the RGB values it appears the background colour of the page is rgb(206,60,33), but the background colour on the graphics is rgb(198,60,33).

Browser reqs are temp until i fix the alignment of the links with 800x600, if you leave the cursor over the link it say where it points to but i was thinking of a more blatent way to do it.. with the text i was trying to keep the theme of the album cover and also not putting too much colours on the site..

The RGB values on my screen show up (201,62,33) and the html code is #C93E21 for both the images and the background, do you think maybe it is because i used jpg files and not gif... Thanx for your tips..

Maybe you can give me some tips on another site i have done www.mystichemp.com

Why not just make the little flame pictures transparent gifs? With as few colors as they use you'd probably be saving yourself some bandwidth anyway.

When you say "hold your mouse over the image for a description" you've set that up using alt="" tags. For that method to work in anything besides IE you need to use title="". When I look at it right now in Firebird I see nothing.

Since you already have JS mouseover handlers with the links, why not add a window.status description to make your visitor's lives even easier?

yeah the background doesnt really contrast enough its pretty bright too

when you mouseover on the bottom buttons maybe layers come up to say what you are clicking on, cause one letter abbreviations dont really do it :-\

but one suggestion, change the frames so you cant resize them, or maybe make the middle just an iframe instead

one more thing... make the bottom row of buttons centered, and for each button make the background transparent cause when i resize the window they turn to orange squares from the clouds in back...

eek! on the mystichemp site I'd do without the music coming on automatically. It's groovy music, but have it be an option to turn on
