Hi all, I just finished up (well, semi finished) a new clients site. Please check it out for me and tell me if and where I've gone wrong. Thanks. redfrogdesigns.com

As for looks, it is very nice, I can't complain about how it looks at all.

As for your code, it is a table hack, it is a validated table hack but still the old school method. I would like to see a CSS only alternative.

Other than my nitpick over the code you have done a nice job with the site, you have kept your content in plain text for the most part, which makes it very nice. Renders beautifully in lynx!

Being that your site is so sound I don't know why you didn't make a CSS solution for this site. You seem to have spent a whole lot of time making sure your CSS and HTML was valid, I am sure you can go the extra-step to make it a CSS layout with valid XHTML. I am sure you have your reason, I hope you might share.

Nice site.

I agree with what Dan said above.

Only thing I can add to that is that I think the page would look better without the faded border used on the left and right hand side. I would stick with the simple white border allready there. You should also add a border and some more padding to the bottom of the page, it ends kind of abrubtly now.

I think the page would also feel more coherent if you didn't change the page layout when viewing products. Instead of dipsplaying only the product, I would keep the layout and only exchange the content for the product.

Thanks for the replies...

The truth is I'm just learning CSS. What is the best way to go about the CSS only... <div> tags?

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I was worried that in the furture they may have some picture with huge width's and it would break the page apart, but I guess the odds are more in favour of the better layout.
