Hello,
I'm looking (but not finding) the CSS property for causing text to be truncated within the width of an implicitly set table / Cell. Anyone know what I'm looking for?

I think that the property you're looking for is

overflow: scroll

Whoops! Sorry. This is the opposite of what you were asking. My bad.

There's also

white-space: nowrap;

which works for anything, including, but not limited to, table cells.
