I'm not a code guru, don't profess to be and never will be. I can't write javascript, php, mysql or xml but one thing I'll continue playing with is css, and when time permits (rarely) I'll bone up on it.
Currently I'm re-writing my site, which a couple years ago (being all css) was a milestone for me. However, I've been adressing many issues I have with my external style sheets for one good reason. One of the main features of css was that you needed less code in both your style sheet and your html, and yet, I (like you guys) will always go nose behind any page that has a linked source - out of curiousity. So my question is this....

Do we make our external style sheets to overly complex?
