H][RO: Browser support is still poor for this. I was just reading through MS' documentation on the styles that IE6 now support and it looks like IE6 now supports min-width and min-height.

I started an FAQ on browser support for styles here (its a little scanty at the moment):

H][RO: Do you have a test page up so we can try it out? Its one of the most important styles that is lacking support and I really want to know where things lie. Nuts I've just fished out the resources (below) and it looks like IE6 supports min-height not min-width

and the recommendations:

it looks like min-width is only supported by NS6 although some people say Op too hmmmmmmm]

min-width, max-width, and other related properties are still too young to really be used safely.

Hey emp yeh i do have a test page, ill post it here when i get home and put a field with min width and one with min height, most other css stuff is tested out too because im just learning it so trying to include it all =)

Bummer about the min width, i thought it would make more sense to have that then min-height? oh well =/ i guess you could just dodgey it up with a line or nbsp to set your min width
