I mentioned to emp before that id put up some kind of test page, originally to test out the min-height/min-width support.

So here it is: http://www.jt-design.net/testpage2.html

Let me know what works/doesnt work and anything else you want me to add to it for people to test. Ive put a few things on for the moment but there is plenty more so let me know.

So far interesting enough min-width didnt work in my IE.6 but it did work in Opera 6, but opera had other problems with z-index and transparency, i havnt had a chance to check for any fixes tho so there are probably many stupid mistakes on this page .

H][RO: Good stuff. I'm using IE6 and the fixed background and transparency works. Transparency will not work in Op as it is a browser specific style I'm afraid.

min-width isn't working - I'm not sure about min-height set the box to overflow:auto.

Nice start.

Nice.

Most of it seem to work in Moz1/winXP, but the menu is always visible so I can't read all of the text in the Page Details area.

Ok so anything else you want me to add to the page to test out?
Ill add another box with overflow on auto so you can check the min-height.

So what we have so far is:
IE6:
- min-width: doesnt work

Opera:
- z-index problem
- transparency: not supported

Venef: ok if you have JS disabled the menu will just stay where it is above everything else, i was just testing a js script for that, shouldnt matter too much for the test page but i might move it anyhow. Otherwise if js is enabled you can just click hide menu and it will go away.

So let me know what other tests anyone wants and ill put them in, when i get a chance ill try find fixes to whatever problems we have and make a report or something that ppl here can use a reference if you think it will be helpful. =)
