Anyone know what's up with this bug/feature in IE6?!?!

In my particular case I have 2 blogs on the same site and a left hand nav column with CSS styled text links. At the bottom of each blog entry on ONE of the two blog pages, when you mouse over the "leave comment" link, the whole div it's contained in disappears from view. You can do the same with the "leave comment" links on every entry, make them all disappear. If you'd like them to reappear you can go and hover over any of the left hand nav links and *poof* they come back.

This happens:
? only in IE6
? only on this one page and not it's identical partner page (same header, footer, stylesheet and dynamic blogware generated content)
? does not happen when code is copy pasted to a new document and looked at locally

I've looked around a bit on this issue and have found posts here and there around the web of people having similar problems, but I've seen no real documentation of the issue, what causes it, or any workarounds.

I unfortunately can't link the page in question either as it's in development and not ready for public consumption, efforts to duplicate the problem have proved futile.

thanks for any words of wisdom here.

Jason

hmmm....

am running into a similar problem, though not identical, and found this post through a Google Search.

Problem I have is after inserting a navigation list above some columns for content, sometimes when I roll over a link in the nav, the columns below suddenly all disappear.

I found one partial workaround, but when I use the browser's back button to return to this page, the content column divs are now all missing, even though they displayed without any problems before clicking the nav link.

Maybe a bit embarassing to say this, but words to the wise:

don't forget to try validating your pages when you have a weird bug like this...

Just ran a validation check and found I was missing a closing tag which now seems to've cleared up all the display issues I had.
