Anyone on this board messing around with xForms?

I stumbled upon these last night, searching for a way to post XML to the server from a client side form. Anyone have any tips on doing this? I see that I can do this whith Javascript, by instantiating the XML DOM and so on... I'm looking for a more pure way to post the XML to the server. So far it seems that the textarea element is the only element I can load an XML doc into for posting... in the pure sense, this isn't so bad except that the textarea element is visible to the client... I could hide the element using CSS (not as pure as I'd like).

What I'd really like to do:
Place an XML data island between between <form> and </form> hit submit a viola, I have posted XML.
Errr... but that doesn't work.

Karl: On XForms see:

Although I must admit I've never used them I'd probably still favour processing things server-side - I'm not sure the time for XForms is yet up on us - bit I could be wrong.

Emps: the exmples I've played around with were very cool. Definnitely a huge improvement over standard HTML forms. Microsoft is coming out with infoPath, a similar technology to xForms.
I'm looking forward to something better than what we got... HTML forms are very limited.

Karl: Anyone who's registered for the GN forums can add links in there... but as I'm not sure if you actually are I've just done it.
