I feel pretty cofident in my CSS ability, I'd say upper itermediate but this code:

code:
#toptab {
background:#E8E8E8;
width:100px;
height:20px;
margin:11px 0px 0px 75px;
font-size:10px;
border-top:1px solid #000; border-left:1px solid #000; border-right:1px solid #000;
voice-family: "\"}\"";
margin-top:10px;
}
html>body #toptab { margin-top:10px; }

I cant seem to grasp the concept behind "voice-family" and the "html>body" tags.

Can some one explain or direct me to an explaination

Patrick: See:
www.glish.com/css/hacks.asp
www.tantek.com/CSS/Examples/boxmodelhack.html

Read through the 3 main CSS tutorials (esp. CSS intro 2 and the Box Model ones).

I have started an FAQ on this:

:FAQ: Can you explain the box model hack?

not much more there but we'll expand on it.]

Yeah, that's just jibberish code that exploits a parsing bug in IE5...

Another great resource is the css discuss wiki. Here's the page on CSS hacks:
http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=CssHacks

Of course, if you're going for volume, nothing beats tabular data:
http://diveintomark.org/safari/csshacks/

Quite a lot or hacks, don't you think?
