I'm very new to the Asylum and to Flash. I've learned alot here and now pose my first question. I created my very first Flash animation. Yea! But it's weird...When you go to the page, which has a black background the first thing you see is a white box where the Flash Animation will be. The background of the animation is black as well...Does this have something to do with using tables to set up the page??? Any suggestions would be great. Please don't get worried if I don't resond quickly to suggestions as they don't let me out of my cell everyday. I find it awfully scary out of my cell...it's big out here....scurrys back to cell and hides in the cool darkness.

It was black for me all the way man. Didn't see any white in the background at all.

I got the white box. Maybe my connection is slower than theirs.

Did you define black as your background in Flash? I don't mean did you put a black box in for a background, but rather is the movie's background black? I think the default is white, so if you didn't define the background as black maybe it shows as white until the movie loads. You change the movie's properties such as dimensions, frame rate and background color in a dialog. Forget the menu command - it's comand-m on a mac.

Justa thought
