Is there some sort of freeware that does AC-3 encoding for sound and/or film editing?
Can Premiere 6 do any decent sound editing, especially along the lines of sound editing?....and
Is there a good free/shareware program that does good techno stuff cos I need it for a short 3d film I'm working on and need some techno music......any clues anyone?????

well, premiere isnt that bad when it comes to audio editing. you have a lot of audio-filters and transfers from one channel to the other etc. can easily be done.
but when it comes to professional sound editing and(!) mixing you should go with a professional tool. magix music maker or e-jay are just the two that come in my mind first...
