Is there anyway to make a link from one flash movie to another flash movie on another page? Is it done the same way you assign buttons with actionscript? I mean could I make a button, conver to symbol, label it, and assign a script inside flash to directly link to a flash movie on a diffrent web page? Also is it possible to link back to a certain frame in the previous animation without having the first movie start all over?

oh I jsut thought of something....
If I just make the second flash movie come up on a sepreate page then they can just clicck it off and they will still have the orginal page. Just like the asylum does. I really like the fact that the asylum loads everything in a sepreate window instead of changing the current, but I am still curious to what can be done as far as linking "back" to a certain frame in another flash movie. It should be easy to do with actionscript and making sure to label the frame.

I have nother question/problem......
I just used a button in flash to link to another page that has flash.

getURL ("http://www.Thesite.html");

But when the page comes up, I right click and it says "Movie not loaded"
Do I need to close out the script on the first page? It works fine when I link to the page in HTML...

sorry, i cant help you out with the flash-problem, dark. but i just wanted to let you know, that there is the possibility to 'edit' your message instead of making a new post. sometimes this is more sensefull, sometimes not.

Ok, I'm a bit confused on some of your q's, but I'll try...

1. you could go from one flash movie to another but I think it'd make more sense to go from a Flash movie to an HTML page with the next movie in that page, unless you had a good reason to want to go right to the movie

2. you can pass variables to a Flash movie (not something I've done tho). rather than trying to link back to a certain frame it might be easier to just load a different movie.

3. don't see how where you're coming from would affect the movie at all, we'd prob have to see it to really help.

hahahah! Yeah I'm going to leave you in the "dark" for right now. I need to test this out in some other browsers and just basicly see if this is full-proof.
