I am making an intro for a friend and it has bg music. I was wondering if there was a way I could make it sort of fade away where eventually no more sound is left. Maybe a tutorial of some sort?

You can edit the sound file inside flash - have you tried that yet?

grab any soundeditor and just modify the wav like you want it.
mostly the software that ships with your audiocard includes a wav-editor.

if not, i suggest www.goldwave.com

You can set the sound to fade within the sound editor in Flash, just create a keyframe near the end and drag it down to 0 on the last frame. You also might check out the sound tutorial at the juxt site (under desktop -> tutorials).
