When workiong in flash I find I have to use the same section of animation or piece of work on one or more layers.
But I need it to go backwards.
Does anybody know ho to copy a tween to a new layer and then reverse that tween without doing the whole thing again?

Also I have had to move the same object in a frame by frame animation up and to the side in many frames. Can you just move all of the same object in different key frames at the same time?

Question #2: put your animation in a movie clip symbol. Then just manipulate that symbol on your main timeline.

Question #1: i'm sure there is but don't know off the top of my head. i'll check and try to post tomorrow if no one else has an answer for you...

I'm hazy on this, but it can be done I'm sure. Vague memory of a striking technique outlined in the New Master of Flash book. Select a range of frames by dragging over them in the timeline. Edit>CopyFrames. Edit>PasteFrames. With newly pasted frames highlited, there's some menu command to reverse 'em.

Can't do this across layers - just within a single layer.
