Before I burn it on CD and start distributing it to design houses where I'm hoping to land a designers job, I need Asylum members to critic it.

Its sorta big[3.6mb]but i can i sure you its well worth every Kb, I hope you find time to download and go thro' it.

as above-all the pics need to be higher res. Since you going to burn it to cd that shouldn't cause any problems. Also your link to your portfolio should start the showcase right away-you dont need that extra "click to continue" page.

Otherwise, it is a very nice clean presentation.

edit-man, I cant type today

Thanks guys.

The res on the images is good as long as you view under 800*600 screen display.
Is there a way i could make the .exe (which i converted from a .swf) not to resize the images res regardless of the screen res used?
Any help appreciated!

edit: Yes I want the .exe to run fullscreen.

I wish I could see it, I'm on a Mac and this is obviously PC-centric. If your going to work at a design house your going to have to understand that not everyone is on a PC and provide neutral content.

No offense.

By the responses you've recieved the images are a bit low on resolution, hey! your delivering on CD - make the files as big as you want. I've found good results in Flash with importing the images at twice the target size and then scaling them down to the size I need. Just don't recompress the images to keep the quality high.

To keep the movie from rescaling you'll need to set an action on the first frame:

FScommand("fullscreen", "true");
FScommand("allowscale", "false");

Make sure to give the viewer the ability to close the full screen mode with a button:

FScommand("quit");

Good luck in the job hunt!
