After using the latest AVID Xpress at school, this looks like a joke.

you get what ya pay for. If you are interested in editing though, this is the editing system for PC (and mac I think).

uhh... I don't believe in em. Acutally last time (and first) I installed one it totally screwd my computer, I had to reinstall win2k... and now I have a bunch of extra system files taking up HD space.

Yah, It will get ya editing video, and quite nicely me thinks. Avid is just sweedish when it comes to editing.

You get it to work?

It loks better than any other free DV editing software I've seen. Although, i-Movie isn't too bad for simple stuff, I'd imagine this is meant to fill the same void on the PC, cause the windows movie maker sure as hell didn't.

Nup. I have a mac with final cut pro and my PC doesn't have fire wire ports, so I'm not likely too use it any time soon either.
