Just need a simple program to add an audio file to an AVI or MPEG file. Any type of audio file will do... WAV, MP3, AU... etc. I'd prefer a windows format though.

Not sure if it's what you need but Vegas works pretty easy and you should be able to overdub
audio quite easy with it. I think the demo will do it, although not sure about the encoding afterwords.

The Free options:

Microsoft Movie Maker is included with WindowsXP

Virtualdub http://www.virtualdub.org/features It's GPL and works under windows and is fine for basic audio dubing. As far as I know there there is very little contol over the audio. You basicly have to preedit the audio to match the lenght of the video.

I know... I checked out AvidDV but its for XP. I hate XP. I don't have XP. I'm running 2k Pro. God Bless W2k!
