![]() i dunno if anybody has heard of gmax, but it's a free program made by discreet, the same people that made 3ds max. what i was wondering if theres any really big differences between the two? i've downloaded gmax (i don't use it really for anything except abstract stuff to use in photoshop.. those trendy crystals and whatnot.. yes i'm a trendwhore! sue me! :P) but i was wondering if theres really any big difference? |

![]() some where in the gmax help it gives a list of all the features that gmax has and that 3dStudios has. Mainly what gmax is missing is rendering. It leaves renders up to the game engin that you import your finished model or level into. |
