How do I merge two or more objects in 3ds max so that if I apply say MeshSmooth they will behave like just one object. Hope that was clear enough (and hope it's possible, must be).

Ok... First I say it in plain Swedish: LDFM!!! and if you don't have it click help usr. ref.
If you still don't know how use the boolean modifier.
Your Welcome!

Thanks.
LDFM - hehe, no, I don't have it.
Ok, boolean, I checked it in the reference but I still don't know how to do. It shows 3 different ways to access it, from the menu, from the compounds tab and so on, but I can't find them.
So, how do I "access" it (in ver. 5)?

edit: Ok, I just found it

try selecting 'compound objects' where it says 'standard primitves'...
