This is always a problem with me. I decide to use particles in a scene, and things never quite work out properly.

In this scene I have three particle systems running. Their emmitters are all orientated the same way, and are located in the same place. They are all using instanced geometry for their particle types, each with a different piece of geometry (mainly for the material differences) defined. They are all set to emit at the same time, live for the same time and die at the same time...so why in the hell, I ask myself, will only one of them show up in a rander from any angle?

This has really gotten my goat. I have to finish this image I'm doing by tomorrow..and I need all three of those particle emmitters to be working...anyone encountered problems like this before?

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

I know exactly why.

You said you instanced the particle emitters and they have the same coordinates right? Instancing means you edit just one, and all 3 are changed the same. So that means that all three systems are using the exact same particle results. This is due to "seed". Each "random" particle sequence is actually more like a preset. This preset is identified by the seed number like an ID. If possible, see if you can make the seed unique for each system without losing their instance. If that fails, decide what you want them all to do first, and then make them unique. Right click on the modifier stack and pick 'make unique'. Unfortunately though after you do this, they will no longer be instanced.

[edit] sorry i'm too late to meet your deadline. next time you'll know what to do =) [/edit]
