Topic awaiting preservation: Building a blog (Page 1 of 1)

Hi, all,

I have been using Blogger for some time, now, and after a suggestion was made to perhaps make my own, I got to thinking that this would be a cool project. Anyone have any ideas where to start or any advice one the building of a PHP-based (file or MySQL) blog?

Honestly I started building a PHP-MySQL one and then just got lazy
