I hope this is the best place to ask?

I am trying to set-up my own server and have it running perl, php under apache. Everything appears to work fine on my internal network but I am having trouble see it from the outside. The weird thing is that some people can see it and others can not. I think from work it is a firewall issue, but I tried it from Mothers comp. using msn and I can not see the site. I am running windows 2000, the problem occured when I switched from nt. Is there something I am missing? The Apache configs appear the same as before. Is there a service of policy under Win2000 I need to check?

Perhap a few of you could hit the site and tell me if you see my test page.

If you could list the time/ and time zone would be most helpful that way if uswest is not giving me my full 24 hour connection I may see a trend.

I don't want to by the domain name untill I know this works.

Thanks a lot. What do you think is causing it and would a proper domain help?

I will recheck my conf. and make sure everything it ok, and give my ISP a call.

May be I should just buy space on dream host.

Well I found out something is kicking my router off line, Time to try updateing the system software on the router and testing out the power backup system.
