Topic awaiting preservation: How to install MySQL??? (Page 1 of 1)

Hi, guys. How are you?
A friend of mine lent me MySQL CD-Rom.
My tutor installed onto Polytech computer.
I found a folder called MySQL in C:
Then I opened that folder. I found a lot of folder and lovely computer icon saying my-huge, my-large, my-medium, my-small and a couple of text files.

Well, actually how can I use MySQL after this? I am using windows 2000 for O/S.
Do I have to put code into somewhere or something like that?
Please help.
