Okey, Emps was suggesting to put this in another thread. You all know that it's more sites like PS Pong out there. I know about two of them:

We could probably learn more about this by checking this sites out. Whats good about them, what isn't?
I think I've seen one more site like this before, it's very popular actually (as you all know) - www.xp.no are thinkin about doing something like this too, but that will only be for Norwegians :-) I'll try finding more sites like this... to see how it's done!

Just for the record, I love how cloudal's matches are in a seperate window with a next and back button and links to each individual volly, its very clean and effecient and it means the main page wouldn't have to be too cluttered because the matches are seperated. Just my $.02

I believe DS posted a link to a site doing a 'quilt' and someone else had a link to a very wide collaborative work (sorry details evade me).

Emps: You're right about that quilt thing. Take a look at http://ds9r.com/digitalquilt/ - me and DS actually have made a quilt at that site, if you take a look at the completed -> quilt 31 -> there it is :-) Mine and DSs work!

I was talking about xp.no was suggesting to do something like this. They'll do a little twist on it, it's not just designers involved. First a writer serves, then it's passed to a designer, then passed to a musician. Get the idea? So it's not just for the designers, but also for writers and musicans. But that's a little bit off-topic!

One more thing - surfstation - they have something like this. Take a look at the 'revolution', it's to original images as is passed to 3 different designers... very cool that too!

one thing though

I think it would be better to have thumbnails on the main page of that specific match...rather than having to go from screen to screen without seeing the various changes done to the image before. (if that makes any sense).
