One suggestion: cut down the size of it to 1/4 to 1/2. Smaller is good.

Looks nifty, if maybe a bit big. One big thing though, the Ktulu text doesn't really fit with the blade. You might want to add a blueish tone with hue/saturation or so.

1) It's way too damn big

2) The text and the image don't mesh

3) The photo and the "chrome" don't mesh

4) The shape....what the hell is it?

5) It's shiny. Yup. Shiny.

So, yeah. Needs a lot of work, but at least it's a lot better than the last uh.....thing.

As in, it just doesn't make sense...visually or otherwise.

Why is there a kids face reflected there at all?

Why does the bottom half of it fade into white?

If there were an actual scene faintly reflected across thewhole thing, it might make sense, but as it is it looks more like an after thought.

Notice the use of the word faintly.

And of course, I still don't get what the shape is. It suggests an axe of course, but a chrome axe with no blade or handle seems kind of...useless.

OK, here my opinion:

The image as a whole, i quite like, there are NO hard and fast rules and sometimes unorthodox (sp?) is refreshing.

I would suggest you listen to what people have to say in here, they have a wealth of knowledge and their advice is precious.

You obviously have some talent, lets just see if you can focus it more towards a nice clean and polished sig that meets the specs that those before you have laid down and then perhaps in future you can use your new found knowledge to help others in your situation.

Not to feed the fire, but I find this guy hilarious.

Actually, I'm with synax...this guy's amusing as hell. The two possibilities are both hilarious.

A) He's an idiot trolling around in disguise looking to impress with his lack of personality where his simple graphics couldn't impress if he were seious.

B) He actually believes this shit.

On way or another, it's funny.


Nice shape though...so oddly familiar...if you ignore the shitty "chrome" job.

I think ktulu_new_era.gif looks more like glass and refraction... not chrome.... I like it.

                                   

DG: There is a third possibility (a slightly different take on your A): he is merely mocking himself. It is possible that he realizes his simple graphics are unimpressive, and is intentionally drawing attention to this with his over-the-top antics to get a laugh.

That would be giving him the most credit, granted, but I think it is possible.

And, yes, I find him funny too, whatever his motivation may be.

Or, (6), he has a VERY large ego.

His name reminds me of Lovecraft for some reason, but I can't quite put my finger on it. (HELP).

I really think that Chrome could get you somewhere, maybe little chrome droplets, or a take on Mahqja's and Ruski's cool liquid balls, but chormed. If you really like chrome that much.

This one, though, looks exactly like the GN's axeblade, and the chroming, although it has potential for future sigs, looks horribly ugly. The grey one looks double-ugly.

And I've always wondered, what is the point of making a sig if you never post?
