Nope...I recognise that. It was your little...package...that you made for your 3D class.

Change the angle on the lighting so that the indented portion of it is more defined, it should make it easier to see why your text is deformed.

if it's me .. it's me .. but correct me if I'm wrong .. I do think I see pixies! on two of the 4 edges .. I like the idea of the sig .. made me laugh when I first saw it .. the pixies are on the left side edges .. do correct me if my eyes are playing tricks on me

Nice work. The red works well with the forum colors. The matting is perfect. I like the angle you have the car. It isn't flat and static. Your name partially under the tire is a nice touch that adds to the illusion of 3d. My one quibble is the headlights. Are they supposed to be grey?

thanks Moth the headlights are not on, so its just the shiny reflector behind the glass that looks grey.. maybe I'll try a whiter surface back there - i actually modelled the reflector and even the bulb in the headlights there

Boudga - though the red mini in the sig is just a Lightwave model, yes my ride is a mini

Just a thought as I was looking at the newest logo with the red mini.

I think it would look cool if the tail end of the "L" in Lurch was extended and brought underneath the mini as if it was a road the car was driving on. Does that make sense? I think it would visually work well and incorporate the two well and look less like simply a name with the mini pasted on top of it. Almost like a mobius strip road or something...

Anyway, I'm rambling...

i was also thinking about the L coming under the mini as a road when I made the red one, but was too lazy to actually try it.. i've tried it now though..

theres a bit of a problem with the L -> its a little too straight in one section, which I'll fix...
