Topic awaiting preservation: *** AUGUST 2003 SIG CONTEST *** Geography (Page 1 of 1)

Hello fellow inmates,

Still in shock over the black light win but how about this month we look at geography.

This can be a sig based on where your from or where you live or perhaps somewhere you want to go, say like Mars or something... I can think of quite a few here that already should have ideas for a cool sig.

In fact if you want to go a different route and make a sig of actual geography that would be cool too.

I guess it needs to be said again there are no recycles and all the normal rules apply.

Ok guys (and gals) let's do it! Show me some geography!

Hmm well my first thought was exactly like the PSD Mahjqa submitted a few weeks ago with clouds flying over a moon... I had to find something else.

Edit : Hmm do you think it needs a bit of resize ?

A bit resizing would be nice, although all the detail on the moon is nice.

Ok, this one needs a little prologue. "Charlie the Monster" is a sad little fella I've been playing round with for a while, printing on t-shirts and sticking round the streets of my hometown. I've been meaning to make a sig of him for a while, so thought I'd use whatever this month's competition turned out to be...End of prologue.

i don't think that it is a bad topic...this happened before too...but then the people posted lots of last minute entries

Its also summer and the number of visitors is way down - I think it just happens to fall in a slack month.

Maybe you shouldn`t be so vocal about your disappointmant until you`ve made an attempt yourself.

DB. . .not the entries, the theme. . .

Cloudman: The theme was fine - the Asylum has been slack the last month (half the number of page view we usually get) and sometimes it can be difficult to get the momentum for this kind of thing.

Right enough of this. I'm shutting this down - there is a chatter thread for this kind of thing if you really want but it won't solve anything.
