I came across the old sig contest thread of lightsabers the other day (can't remember where I put it down now), and so thought...ok...I'd like to try my hand at pixel pushing one of my own...so it is with trepedation I submit my latest sig...

I never know if the transparency will work right...yes, I know I could test it locally using a page with two table cells using the two different background colours...but I'm too damn lazy.

Wisely you have used the force , and such a sig will keep you safe think I.

The middle of the blade should be almost completely white with the color only appearing on the outer edges as a glow. This makes the blade look very bright.

well, yeah the beam needs a bit work. i think tis a bit too broad and as already mentioned, it's got to be white in the middle

Yep, blade could be whittled down just a bit.

Right now it looks like a lightbillyclub.

Actually, based on the length of the beam compared to the handle, I'd call that a "lightdagger."

That'd be kinda cool though. A dual light dagger wielding Jedi... Or Sith.. That'd just be devestating. Especially if they could be double bladed. Hmmmm... I might have to make a character in Star Wars that uses those.

yeah, that'd be cool. Maybe have them be kind of like a Jedi Musketeer. Those guys used a long sword (forgot the name) and a dagger. That would be cool.
