I don't know if this belongs here, but oh well.

I know this is pretty minor, but this one forum I recently joined called Homebirth Haven has this really good option where you can view all of your posts at once on one screen. I often find here, that I will post some stray remark in some forum and then forget which one it was and I never get back to responding if someone asked me a question or something. I thought it was a good option that maybe should be included here.

Here are the three options they provide, at the top right corner of the main forum page:
-View posts since last visit-
-View your posts-
-View unanswered posts-

The whole structure of the Asylum may not permit something like this, I don't know, but I think it would be a good addition to what the Asylum has. Perhaps it could be placed under 'Click Here To View Today's Active Topics (all public forums)'

Actually, you can just search for your posts by your user name. I think this might bring up older posts first and more recent posts last, but it still does the job. Either that or you could just work on improving your memory.

Yeah, Dumbass.

(kidding..)

It's actually a good idea for whenever the new forum gets implemented. I know there was a thread a while back asking for suggestions, if only I could remember where that was....

I know I can search for my username. I actually thought of putting that in my original post, but figured that everyone would know that. I guess that is what happens when you make assuptions.

Does anyone know what the new asylum is going to be like? Maybe there is a post or something discussing it?

DL - it takes one to know one. {I know this is real cheesy, but I'm tired...}

It's going to be like a little slice of hehvahn. =)
No posts or anything about the discussion of it, but I'll drop a note to the appropriate folks in the event they didn't see this post.

This new asylum, will it look different? I really don't know if my heart will continue beating if the structural appearance of this place changes...

Just be patient and have faith.
And I really stress the "patient" portion of that.
It's a ways off.
I don't really think anyone's looking to answer a barrage of questions about it...
so if that could be kept to a minimum, that'd be good too.

If there are we haven't been told...I don't think Doc would approve a change to the look anyway.

OK we need to get a few things clear:

1. It will look almost identical to this (if it ain't broke).

2. However, it will be 1,000 times better.

3. Which Mad Scis haven't actually been kept up to speed on this (o are you naughty lot trying to confuse Michael - its like shooting fish in a barrel so stop it!!)?

What are the straps like on this new machine, Suho? The straps on the other one left some pretty bad marks... nothing a little Pine-Sol (I swiped it from VP's closet) didn't take care of, but it's good info to have.

I had some cool ideas about the reply thingy, using dhtml, which could be implemented easily well after the boards up and running if they were used. Basically if when you hit reply insteda of going to a new page and new box that looks the same as a normal post drops down but with a black background or something to show its not there yet, so when your writing your post you know exactly what it will look like, with a neat interface, I doubt it would need a log in box as any newer boards I've seen dont even let you hit the reply button unless your logged in at the time. just a thought...

No Login on the reply page? I'll forget whatever it was I wanted to write before the login process is complete!

Raptor: You'll be pleased to know that the new equipment is actually strapless! Yep, two other inmates will be holding you down while I insert the probe.

This forum here, has a pretty cool thing that when you are replying to a post, instead of putting everything that every one has written in the page beolow the reply box (like at the Asylum), it actually puts it in a small scroll down box right below the area where you reply, that way when you are replying, if you want to copy someone that someone else posted for a quote, you don't have to do a bunch of scrolling. I don't know if this makes any sense, but it's pretty cool.
