For one who has worked in the Intelligence community, this is suspect. Things like this don't just happen 'coincidentally'. The question is, who really released this stuff, and why? And what did they hope to gain by doing so? Interesting...

As for Saddam...and the 'building' signs of The Gulf War, revisited, well, first of all, it doesn't surprise me that it's being considered. The real reasons for such a thing are hard to discern...and without 'inside' information, difficult at best to base an opinion on. I think the question has been pretty much 'discussed to death' in the current thread on the topic.
