you care for people,it's misunderstood. You try to save a life, the thought is ignored. You try to prevent heartbreak and sorrow, you're brushed aside.Maybe at the end of the long cycle, you are alone.

My question is...
Why the hell does this happen? and
Even though I might be hated, should I continue on?

I think the main point is, why are you doing, what you are doing? Are you doing it for yourself, or for others? If for others, then you are bound to be dissappointed...

However, if you are doing it for yourself, then you don't need acknowledgement of your actions...your actions are acknowledgement in and of themselves...I do such for myself...that makes me happy.

Maybe if I understood what you were talking about, I could give you an answer. You gave very little information of which to respond.

If I had to go on just what Malaki posted, I think WS is on the right track. If you do good for others and expect something in return, you are going to get hurt. This is the way the world works. Why does this happen? Because we humans are an imperfect and often times wicked species The sooner you come to terms with that reality, the better you will be able to deal with it.

And, yes, of course you must continue. Of course! If you need help in doing that, remember there are plenty of people here to offer you support, even if it is just an exchange of typed words but never forget that with those words come real sentiments from real people on the other side
