DG - Yea, I've also heard Far, they are pretty good also. I like all the New End Original stuff also, but I really like Division Day. Not sure if you've heard them, they are on Jade tree also.

Ok ok I know Erasure invokes some disruptive vibes for many but I just bought "other people's songs" and I'm liking it for the most part. Suho!!! Do you have that one yet?

Thank you for dredging this one back up, Sanzen--I never saw Bugs' last post there!

Bugs: No, I don't have their latest yet... I'm not sure if it is out here yet. I haven't had much time to go shopping for music lately, but as soon as I figure out when and where I can get it I definitely will.

has no-one heard "murray street" by sonic youth. if so, i'm surprised no-one's put it down. it would probably be my favourite of last year, and inspires some faith at least in the current state of things...

I've had Murray Street for a while but I just haven't listened to the whole thing until just a couple of weeks ago.
I was astonished how Sonic Youth has made their music more "approachable". I've always had issues with Sonic Youth.
I would like one song on an album but the rest was just hard on the ears. I would have to agree that this new
album is really good.

fuck all this, the new limp bizkit shit is just going to fucking blow it all away, music of 2004. every-fucking-one should fucking download "just drop dead" from www.limpbizkit.com... "This is raw, unmixed and straight from the studio. I couldn't help it. Fred" says the man himself - and with lyrics like "What the fuck is going on?
Who the fuck do you think you are? (Bitch)" who are you to disagree?

quisja: (I'm asking this because I really don't know...) So the example you gave is supposed to be good lyrics or bad lyrics? I'm a bit confused.

Bugs: Went out and bought the new Erasure album. It's quite nice. Definitely not my favorite Erasure album (it would be pretty sad if my favorite Erasure album was a cover album...), but very nice. Incidentally, this is the first album I have bought since Loveboat. Oh, there was also the Barry White album I picked up this winter, but that wasn't a new album.

ok, to clear up any confusion, and you'd probably understand if you listened to the song, those were an example of really terrible, henious lyrics. i quite honestly felt like vomitting the first time i heard it. the whole thing deserves no less than complete failure. fred durst should just give up now.

Oh, OK. That clear's things up a bit.

I guess I should say that I don't really know who Limp Bizkit are, and I've never heard any of there songs, so I wasn't sure what context to take that remark in. I figured it was probably bad, but I wasn't sure.

Incidentally, I did go read those lyrics. Yes, they do suck. Heinously.
