One answer is "do you like money?" Learn things, it'll make you more likely to make money later.

Another answer is "do you want to be smart?" School is one of your main options when it comes to being smart. It could also help if you read a lot, and write a lot.

Now, if you don't want money, and you don't want to be smart, then hey, don't go to school, see if I care. Just don't do anything that hurts people, and don't have children, and I'll be happy with your decisions.

I agree with PT cruiser on all points.... especially about not having children.

Hey Darklilkilla, do you have parents that can teach you differential equations and so on ? And applied physic ? If so, I guess you are lucky. but consider it's not the case of everyone... What do we need to learn is not limited to things of the life. We need ingeeners to make things work, for example. How do you think you can post here ? Because someone was taught complex things by a teacher and improved the system later... Not because he was taught by his parents things of the life.

I'd be curious to know what it is teachers teach us that we don't need. This seems to be a common complaint from students, but I've never heard them cite a single subject that is in fact useless.

Hey, you may never use geometry in your upcoming music career, but learning such subjects helps you develop reasoning and problem-solving skills, something most young adults greatly lack these days.
