*shakes head*

How can people whose job it is to stop things like this be so dismissive?

The truly sad and devastating thing is that this is comparably mild when seen against may of the cases that are out there and go undiscovered when it seems that there should be blinding signs of abuse.

The un-responsiveness of various agencies is also quite commonplace. Unless, of course, there isn't a real issue.....then they run right in and take a child away who shouldn't have been....

Yeah....I'm a little disillusioned....

Oh wow. She should die.

But, continuing the discussion, there was a pretty interesting (local) situation here in Vancouver a while ago: There was one case, where a kid was seized, but didn't want to go. They were reported by a neighbor, who was his mom 'slap' him outside after he cussed at her. The other was the CPA refusing to seize someone after they showed up at school with bruises and scars that were (evidently) the result of his dad beating him. Kinda sad, and it ended up like this: The kid who didn't want to go ended up in a foster home, and the other ran away and hasn't been heard from since.

Yah, I wouldn't really count on the CPA or the police to do much (thats logical) about this issue. We (well, I, and many members of this board) live in America after all. We can just don our cowboy hats, put some spurs on our boots, load up our shotguns and walk over to the (abused's) house and give the (abuser) a really good subsonic lead projectile beating.

I imagine she was raised like this also, not that that is an excuse or anything.
She must be pretty tough though, to be able to beat someone up like that.
You can see those Hulk Hogan muscles bulging under her shirt. I wish the
next picture would of been of a truck driving by and accidently swerving
into her, missing the child.
