5x7, 4.25 x 6....Those are standard sizes I guess, but you can really make them any dimension you want as long as they don't exceed the weight limitations....

No smaller than 3.5x5, no larger than 6.125x11.5. The width to height ratio cannot exceed 1.7 to 1. Tha paper must be between .007 and .0095 inches thick.

I do not know how much would apply to Canada but you might want to check out the US Postal Service website.
www.usps.gov

Once there search for Document QSG 102, its a PDF that lists all the spec's and rules for postcards.
