If I create a diagram in Excell and want to put to print
trough Pagemaker. What way is the best to do that?

I reccently just copied and pasted it from Excell to Pagemaker
but then it got low-res in the end..

I've tried to eps it and tif-save in Photoshop and back to Pagemaker
but with poor results.

Anyone with good experiences of this??

I'm no Excel-wiz, but if you can export it as EPS, you could just place the EPS in your PM-document.

It will look real crappy on screen, but if you print it on a PostScript printer och export it as a PDF it should look fine.

Well, Excell doesn't give you the option of
exporting as eps..

umm.. looked a bit deeper.

It depends on what software you have. You can print the area to file (at least pdf, but probably to eps or prn)
You should then be able to open the pdf in say Illustrator and resave with all vectors intact.

Or you could just feed your chart numbers into pagemaker and let it make the chart.
(well, if you're not stuck with a gazillion figures of course)

Hej!

Sure you can take an excel diagram over to Illustrator and then get it to print quality....Just go to print and then choose print as "file" instead. Then you will get a "PostScriptfile" (.ps) which you can open and edit in Illustrator. I do this a lot, it works fine....hopefully this will help you....if need any more info, just go ahead....går bra på svenska också...

sincerely yours

Tommy
