When I import tif-images in Quark Xpress 5.0 they get jagged
in the edges and looks lowres even though they aren't.

Anyone experienced this?

I am not familiar with Quark, but in Pagemaker, the default resolution for graphics is a low-rez version, to save on the processing power necessary to refresh the screen when changing pages or zoom level if a high-rez version is used. This can really slow your computer down. The resolution of the graphics can be changed by going to Preferences>>Graphics Display. It wouldn't surprise me if Quark does something similar.
