I recently switched from Pagemaker to Quark Xpress and in Pagemaker
you could decide where on an object you would measure. From the upper left corner,
the center, the lower right corner etc..

But in Quark you don't seem to be able to do that, or???
I'm using Quark Xpress 5.0 Passport Edition.

Do you mean adjusting where the measurement are taken from, I don't think there is a function for that in quark. But I haven't tried version 5 yet.

You can adjust a boxes size via the measurement pallete. The first set of values are the upper right corner, and the second set is hight and width from the upper right corner. The real nice thing with Quark is you can control the positon of an image inside a picture box with the measurement pallete as well.
