Hi,

I have a freehand doc. of 20 pages. But there is a bug on one page and i cannot remove it. There appears a big box when i zoom the page, but it does not exist there i can not select it. Worse situation is it appears on the printed page.

Do you know anything that i can try?

thanks a lot.

One thing you could try.

1. Select all elements on the page except the bad one.

2. Then copy and paste to a new page.

3. Then delete the offending page.

Hopefully it will not migrate to another Page.

I just though of one othe thing, perhap you managed to do a "Paste Inside." Freehand will allow you paste tother elements inside other textboxes and it appear non-selectable. To select pasted inside content hold down the ALT or OPT key (mac)? while selecting. Either that or deleting the parent box.

The other thing is since pagemaker is realy like one large document with marker for where pages start and stop. Your problem box could be grouped, locked, etc.... with somthing on another page as you many never know it, try un grouping and unlocking the element.

Otherwise I guess you will have to just start deleting items on the page until/if it goes away or redo the file. I guess there is exporting to Ascii export to EPS and then Hand editing the postscript but that would be more work then just redoing the page.
