They are gorgeous aren't they? I've been trying to get a good shot of a Dragonfly or a Damselfly all summer. Ive been told to try to catch them in the morning when they are still warming up, so they are less likely to fly away when you try to get a little closer.

Now that you mention it, I did catch one on the [url=http://members.aol.com:/frankacaba/dragonfly3.jpg]fly[\url].
I just followed it with camera and got lucky.

frankacaba..it's great to see you taking photos and sharing. I wanted to give you a hint on spider webs....do them early morning or late afternoon and mist them with water. Use your macro mode if your camera has that and a tripod if you have one or be very still if you don't...the waterdrops really make a spider web beautiful and give it that wow factor

Thanks for the tips Shiiizzzam, I ordered a macro lens (105mm) and it should arrive this week, I can't wait to try it out. I'm using the Fuji S2.
For those interested, Canon just came out with the Rebel digital, first SLR digital for under $900. You can see a review here

I just put up a shot of a spider yesterday. There's a white furry moth up there, too.
