http://www.crazybrowser.com

quote:
Crazy Browser is a powerful Web browser. It has the ability to open multiple sites and windows inside a single browser task. It also has a Smart Popup Filter - it blocks all the annoying popups automatically!

This has full support for Windows XP Theme and P3P privacy policy and JavaScript error suppression.... It can handle multiple monitors and has tab status indicators. Annoying ad windows can be removed automatically and multiple pages can be saved and reopened together. Crazy Browser comes with many preconfigured search engines, but you can extend it to use your own.

It's like they took the best from IE6 & Opera6 and crammed it all into this browser, it's pretty neat actually...

Doesn't look bad really. Looks almost exactly like IE. I like the PopUp killer. I'm going to try it out.

<edit>
Well I'm checking it out right now. Not bad really. It took my favorites from IE and pulled them over exactly. This is almost the same as IE so I need to figure out what the advantage of this browser is to IE.

Crazy Browser uses IE rendering engine, so it's basically a wrapper around IE (just like some HTML editors utilize IE for internal preview feature). Think about it as IE with tabbed interface and a few more gizmos...

I've been using it all day today. I have to say that I really like it. I like the tabbed feature and the pop up killer. I have not gotten one pop up ad today!

Looking at the "About" window. It is just IE6 as mr.maX said.

Thanks for the link!!

Thanks for that link Synthetic

I'm loving that pop-up killer

<edit>forgot who posted the link</edit>
<edit>ok, I only have one "complaint" so far... I use a trackball and scrolling-wheel instead of a mouse, and whenever I use the wheel it changes the window back and forth between full-screen and regular. Minor problem though, think I'll stick with it for awhile.</edit>

Yeah maX is correct about it, But I must admit I like gizmos

I am a MSIE fan but I've always liked the opera tabbed feature, well now I can have both and do away with my old pop-up killer

I was really liking Crazy Browser until the first time I hit ctrl+o to bring up a window to type in a url... why oh why did they have to change it to ctrl+l?? Netscape screwed me over in the exact same way a cople of years ago and thats why I switched to IE. I can't kick my ctrl+o habit so back to IE for me

Yep, a very big difference, especially for us broke college students

And from what I can tell so far it doesn't change which window is focused ever time a new one loads. Which to be honest I was getting real tired of, especially when I have 5-6 or more browsers up at once.
