hey that's pretty nice. simple, smooth, quick, nice on the eyes. I like the colors a great deal. The tables of course need some work, and I despise any variation of the Times font. I'd suggest verdana, will fit in nice with your design. <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif">

If you want help with the tables, just say the word <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/wink.gif">

seems to be a slight table discrepency on the top left corner of the orange, but other than that, I dig.

Hi all,

thanks for the feedback - yes i am having some trouble getting the tables to work properly, namely the top left hand corner. I just cant seem to be able to get that image to stay anchored to the top of the cell.... any suggestions or idea's would be most usefull.. i am currently using align="top", but whenever i put content in the main table cells, and the table grows, it tends to come down further and sit in the middle of the cell...

also, there are several things which havent been implemented. - i intend to have a mouseover effect on the links, possibly a drop shadow versus no drop shadow, or change of colour from white to Orange? ... anyway, thanks for the feedback... i'll keep on working on that table!!
:-)

ps : any suggestions on how i can make the smaller link images ( .:: Home etc ), a little bit more clear...?

DL-44 - i'll try the Verdana font - i assume you mean the top textual links on the white back?

Thanks once again...

steelo:
I just did a VERY quick glance at the page, and for five second fixes, you can try what's below. I'll try to take a more in depth look later on if it's still a problem for you.

right now you have this:

<td width="29" height="29" bgcolor="#FF6600"><img src="Images/topleftjpg.jpg" width="29" height="29" vspace="0" hspace="0" align="top"></td>

Two things come to mind. First, you've got the wrong alignment tag for your value. If you need an object aligned vertically (top or bottom) the tag is "valign" not "align". Second, isn't really technically wrong, but it's an opinion on a better way. What you're doing is putting alignment in the image, instead of forcing alignment within the table data cell.

Try this, to see if you get a change.

<td width="29" height="29" bgcolor="#FF6600"><img src="Images/topleftjpg.jpg" width="29" height="29" vspace="0" hspace="0" valign="top"></td>

Or the method I'd prefer:

<td valign="top" align="left" width="29" height="29" bgcolor="#FF6600"><img src="Images/topleftjpg.jpg" width="29" height="29" vspace="0" hspace="0"></td>

Hope it helps.

Peter

I must agree with DL-44 on the font. I would really suggest arial or helvetica, especially on small text. They look clearer an less jagged since they have less curves. And as soon as you have fixed the table allignment, it will look very good.

Keep it up, bro.
