Inspired by those fancy imac buttons that captivated us all...

I didn't make this for any real purpose. I figure if I meet someone on the street who wants a web page, I can sell it for a few hundred dollars. =)

Any opinions? Should work at *least* on IE and NN for windows.

Slime why does your work always hafta look and work awesome? My only real opinion (which Im not sure how to describe) is where your content goes, you should make the darker blue go further down. The light blue starts too soon in my opinion. Im not sure if that makes any sense but thats the only thing I can see remotely wrong with it. Also try to incorporate your scroll in this design. I would love to see that. Great work as usual.

pretty cool slime <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif">

yeah, that would be a good page for your scroller.

My critique: the text on the buttons and *especially* the logo (blueplastic) is really flat and dull compared to the rest....kinda drags the luster away from the rest of the graphics. I'd aplly the same treatment (more or less) to the text as you did the rest.

Nice work slime.

Damn, that's a perfect little neat site! Will the block for the content scroll as you add more content, or does this require the dhtml scroll? Good work!

When extra text is added, the interface will just stretch taller and taller (or longer and longer) to fit the content. I wasn't planning to put my DHTML scroller on this, and I still don't plan to, because that scroller is, so far, the only script I've written that fails to work in the *later* versions of browsers! (Specifically, IE 5.5.) Maybe I'll fix it up sometime, but for now that page is DHTML-free.

Oh, to Jestah, I actually originally wanted to make the blue fading go farther down, and it did originally. It turned out to be a problem when I was splitting up the image, though.

I'm glad you guys like it; I think this is one of my best yet.

One question: If I were to sell this, how much would you think it's worth? i worked on it for about six or seven hours, I think. This is, of course, assuming I could find someone interested in *buying*. =)

Ooh, it's hard selling pre-made thinggs, I've never actually done it yet, even though I've tried numerous times. If this was a contracted design, it seems it would/should sell for about $1200-2400, depending on the source. Since you're in a hard sales spot, as it's already done, and nobody contracted it, you might have to sell it for much less, say $400 or so?
