I've been in the net for about one year now designing web sites for myself. I am just now expanding my design mind by purchasing some high end programs. In doing this i have also expanded my design budget, and have no money left for hosting! I was wondering if anyone knew of any hosting services that are free, don't have ad banners, and accept Perl and CGI scripting.

they do exist...

But if you're planning on doing this in a professional medium, you're pretty much left with getting a domain and shelling out the max $100/mo (and that's super-high-end) for upkeep. Otherwise, you're like every other two-bit designer who's sitting at geocities.com wondering when their ship is coming in.

I say save up more cash. <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif">

True, true. I'm on hypermart right now, that should hold me over until I get more advanced programs, like PS. At that point i'll probably start off with one of those $10/mo hosting plans and upgrade to a more advanced hosting plan as my needs progress.

By the way what's everyone's suggestion for the best hosting companies?

I find gxhosting.com to beat any other host's prices for what they offer, plus the server is fast and reliable.
