Preserved Topic: Proud Aunty's Attempt at a Website!! (Page 1 of 1)

I'm no web designer, I put my hands up to it, I am just starting out. But when I became an aunty I made a family site for my sister and her hubby. Can anyone suggest anything else I can add to it? What I should change?

nice page Ali.. your graphics are pretty 'sharp' looking and I like the colours you have used.. cool... looks like the wedding was a blast!...

(Slimies are these ----> <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif"> .. disbaling them means that a normal typed happy/sad/etc face will show up instead of a slimie)

Oh and thank you for your comment - I am glad you thought the colour ok - I wondered if it was all too drab being grey, but I think grey works sometimes, especially when there are loads of images.

Hey that's alright! yupper. Nicely presented. Tidy. I like tidy. If anything at all I'd make the buttons a little smaller and less bevelled. If that's the Photoshop Layer effects bevel, try colouring the 'highlite' colour so it suits your background a little more. Good colours I thought. Nice work =)

Not bad for a first effort at all.

Your buttons could be gifs instead of jpgs and this will take the mottled squigglies off from around the lettering and drop the file size as well. Nice consistency throughout. Job well done Auntie.
